As most of us have experienced, life is about change.  The changes associated with aging are often some of life’s most difficult challenges.  For many people, growing old means dealing with loss — loss of independence, mobility, a familiar home, loved ones, and eventually, the loss of life itself.

 

Let’s remember that old age and death are actually transitions into the next stage of life.  Just as a caterpillar will transition into a butterfly, so too will we transition from life-as-we-know-it into the next stage of our never-ending journey.

 

Elder Care Ministries attempts to share the truth that even though change is inevitable, we do not have to experience it alone.  God is with us.   We have the resources we need.  And we can make a difference in the lives of others.
