"The Power Of Small Gatherings"
 Baptist Heritage Weekend
November 3rd and 4th, 2018
Berean Baptist Church

Did you ever wonder why we Baptists are organized locally in “congregations”? Or why our form of organization is significant? Is there an advantage to being a small congregation? Did you ever ask “Why can’t we be more effective in doing what we do as a church?” These and many other questions will be addressed at this year’s Baptist Heritage Weekend to be held at the Berean Baptist Church.

Looking at our form of polity, “congregations”, from both an historical and contemporary point of view will bring us answers and inspiration! Dr. Wm. Backney an eminent Baptist historian will address the early formation of our denomination while Rev. Collins and members of the Berean congregation will tell their story, one that has brought the recognition of the Rosa O. Hall award to them.

On Sunday, Dr. Brackney will be preaching at First Baptist in Providence on Nov. 4.
