Churches Helping Churches

The Baptist Fund of Rhode Island supports the ministries of local churches.   Together, churches support this Fund created to foster positive relationships among one other, and to be there for each other in the pursuit of  God’s Kingdom.  The BFRI supports youth ministry programs, local missions, new ministerial endeavors, pastors in need,  facility renovations , volunteer efforts and other ministry partnerships.  We share our prayers and contributions in order to accomplish the great tasks of ministry that are at hand.   Together, as a family, we can move ahead in this 21st century as vibrant and relevant Christians serving the Kingdom in our corner of the world and beyond!

Guarantor of Loans

The Baptist Fund guarantees loans made from church to church. Your church can lend money to a sister church in need knowing that we stand behind that loan.  Churches in need may borrow money from sister churches at a low interest rate without the hassle of going to a financial institution.

Application                    PDF    ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS: Upon receipt of an application for a church loan, the chair of BFRI will contact the applicant to begin the process of finding a sister church that would consider loaning funds.  BFRI's role is that of broker, bringing the borrower and lender together to work out a mutually agreeable loan.  BFRI also serves as the guarantor of the loan, should there be a default.
