A Musical Journey Through a Christian’s Life

 

The afternoon's journey begins as a guided tour along the road of life.  Our tour begins simply enough, but as with any journey, much can happen along the way. Through the combination of music, verse and imagery, we tell our story.
The program is presented in two acts with a brief intermission.

 

 

Music With A Message

That was the call that lead to the creation of our band.  Songs have a way of reaching people and our goal was to pick songs that had messages of hope and encouragement. Our early selections were familiar songs that taught us to work as a group, but may have been short on their message.   Along the way we added more songs; some with clearer messages than others; some from contemporary Christian artists, while others came from more popular sources.  All the while our band was growing and developing, never losing sight of our original purpose, sharing God’s message through music.

Tonight represents another step towards that goal, through the selection of music that has been combined to tell a story. This story has been developed over time, through guidance from the Holy Spirit.  When attempts to force a program failed, this project was put on hold until the pieces fit together and the story wrote itself in an afternoon.  We hope that this combination of song, narration, and scripture provides you with hope and encouragement to move through the phases of life and recognize that we are not alone, and help is closer than you think.

As a group we have supported each other, recognized our strengths and weaknesses, and developed a bond that has enabled us to step outside of our comfort zone, expand our horizons, and grow.  All through the simple suggestion, why don’t we start a band.
